Bishop Theotis White, I

Bishop Theotis White is the Senior Pastor of Zion Hopewell Full Gospel Family Worship Center in Gilbert, South Carolina. He is married to the anointed Elder Vernether Davis White, and to their union two children were born, Audrey Natasha and Theotis II.



On November 11, 1985, God called him to the ministry according to Isaiah 58:12, "to be a bridge builder, a repairer of the breach". He was licensed on December 29, 1985 under Pastor Edward Kinard at St James Baptist Church in West Columbia, South Carolina. In April 1986, God called Bishop White to the pastoral ministry. He received his ordination at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Association under the leadership of Moderator M. E. James. Bishop White has served as the South Central District Overseer of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton. He also served as the South Carolina State Bishop in The Lord's Churches Fellowship Ministries International, Inc. under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Grant B. Williams. On August 25, 2018, Bishop White received an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Leadership. Today he serves with the Father's House of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia.



During Bishop White's thirty plus years of service at Zion Hopewell, he has brought the understanding of church ministry to another level in Christ Jesus. Through his leadership several ministries and auxiliaries within the church has been established, such as Wednesday Noon and Evening Bible Studies, Christian Education, New Opportunities for an Intimate Zion Experience Youth Ministry, Prophetic Development, Total Recovery Ministry, Evangelism Ministry, Marriage Enrichment, Men of Issachar and much more.



Under his leadership, the membership at Zion Hopewell has grown from 50 active members to approximately 300 plus active members and still growing. He is also the Founder and Presiding Prelate of Zion Hopewell Fellowship of Churches and Ministries.



Today, Bishop Theotis White has received a clear mandate from God to move from the pastoral anointing and function to embrace the apostolic nature and power. He believes in laying a foundation for every aspect of the believer's life. He has developed many covenant relationships through and apostolic network in a spirit of humility, cooperation and mutual fellowship for a common purpose. Because of this shift, many believers have been centered on God's call and purposes for their lives and have been equipped to function effectively in the work of the ministry.
